Between Realism and the Uncontrollable — Miami Art Week 2025

As I prepare for my upcoming exhibition with The Wall Art Gallery in Miami this November, I find myself reflecting on how each artwork in this collection became part of a conversation about life, death, and time. From The Garden Girl to Venus Visionary, every painting is a study of our fragile connection to the Earth and to each other — a moment suspended between realism and the uncontrollable. My charcoal forms represent the realism of structure and discipline, while the expressive splashes of paint represent emotion, chaos, and the inevitable flow of time. Together, they mirror how beauty often exists within the tension between control and surrender.

Across this collection, I’ve explored recurring symbols — the butterfly as transformation, the planetary as perspective, the flower as renewal, the owl as wisdom, and the bee as rhythm and frequency. Whether it’s Medical Monday reflecting life’s fragility, The Dream Tree of Oz symbolizing hope and grounding, or Key to the World expressing the weight of result and the innocence amid cosmic vastness, each work seeks to remind us of how deeply our lives are intertwined with time and space. The collection ranges from intimate 30-inch pieces to monumental 100-inch works, each a universe of its own.

I’ll be in Miami throughout Miami Art Week (November 29 – December 7, 2025), with a VIP opening night on November 29, just before Art Basel begins. There will also be special evening events on December 4 and 5, along with other nightly fashion shows and live performances hosted at The Wall Art Gallery during my exhibition. One of my events will also include a secret surprise and the reveal of a never-before-seen artwork. More details will be announced here soon, so stay tuned for updates and announcements as the show approaches.
