For Freedom

This artwork ‘For Freedom’ is inspired by the bold actions of French celebrities. In particular, Juliette Binoche as she protested for Iranian women freedom following death of Mahsa Amini. This charcoal and acrylic painting on fine art ready to hang canvas is painted as inspired by a friend who posed in this hair cutting action. Charcoal provides the representational structure for the woman in strong pose, using a unique and also made up technique with paint brush and charcoal dust. Acrylic paint splashed in green, yellow, red, blue, purple, pink and orange. Oil paints of white painted in sections for bright highlights.

This artwork is a ready to hang fine art 4cm thick stretched canvas with 5 layers of soft white gesso painted. Sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives. Includes a signed certificate of authenticity. Signed on the front with art ink.
