This large rolled canvas artwork is inspired by the beauty and elegance of ballet dance and the colours of the outback desert. First charcoal was delicately paint brushed and painted in a unique made up technique to create a realistic looking woman in a ballerina pose. Acrylic colours of mustard yellow, ochre, bright light yellow, Indian yellow, sandy cream, desert orange, dark gold and bright glittery gold were splattered, dropped and splashed in energetic motion to create a sense of movement and life. Some splatters of glittered reflective acrylic medium were added for a surprise shine at various angles of light.

Please note: Some additional close up photos have mildly incorrect colour tones as they are taken by an iPhone. The main photo and large close up photos are accurate colour. This artwork is sold rolled with the in context photo showing framing and stretched canvas example in a floating frame. A local framer can arrange both options as the canvas cut size is larger than the artwork size. This painting is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity. Sold Unframed (rolled).
