This artwork is inspired by a love of dance as a spectator and the power it presents it taking the mind away in dreamlike state. First charcoal was delicately painted onto the fine art gallery canvas in a unique and made up technique to create a realistic looking ballet dancer. Artist acrylic colours of rainbow blue, green, pink, yellow, orange, red, gold and purple were splattered and splashed to create a sense of movement and emotion in how it feels to see dance. The gold has a shiny shimmer to it in the top and shoes.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The fine art gallery canvas has a soft white gesso background and sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
