Sunset Venice Tree explores the idea that life’s greatest destinations often belong to those willing to imagine them first. Standing quietly within a flourishing tree is a hidden doorway leading not into another room, but into another world.

Beyond the entrance lies a peaceful Venetian canal at sunset, where warm evening light reflects across the water as a gondola glides beneath one of the city’s iconic bridges. Inspired by Ashvin Harrison’s own travels through Venice, the scene becomes a symbol of adventure, romance and the unexpected journeys waiting behind every decision we make.

The magnificent tree itself represents strength, growth and the passing of time. Its expansive canopy bursts into thousands of layered splashes in champagne gold, bronze, soft pinks and shimmering metallic tones that appear almost luminous in changing light. Sparkle medium woven throughout the composition creates subtle reflections impossible to capture fully in photography, allowing the artwork to transform throughout the day.
