Art Couture Editions is a considered extension of Ashvin Harrison’s practice — where fine art moves beyond canvas into form, material, and presence.
Each edition is produced with Ashvin’s personal touch. The art couture tote is hand-painted and splashed in the studio, with every piece carrying artistic variations that make it entirely its own. No two are identical. You can even choose the accent colour!
The collection begins with a series of refined Cabas tote pieces, completely crafted in Buderim, Australia. Each is constructed using soft vintage white 100% full-grain Italian leather throughout, Australian cotton, and American brass hardware, developed in collaboration with award-winning leather artisan Isabel Atienza.
Every piece is individually hand-finished and signed through Ashvin Harrison’s signature artistic process, balancing precision craftsmanship with expressive, one-of-one detailing. Every art couture piece is designed to stand strong and proud like a sculpture, providing a usable fashion art piece to carry and display on every significant outing. The front bee and signature are engraved using the same new high-tech machine recently used by Dolce & Gabbana. Each edition is labelled, numbered and branded on the inner leather lipstick pocket. Every edition is sealed with layers of acrylic fixatives to ensure the colour vibrancy lasts more than a lifetime.
Designed as both a functional object and a collectible artwork, these pieces exist between contemporary fine art and high-end fashion — intended for collectors who value true rarity, material integrity, and authenticity over mass production.
This couture release will remain intentionally limited to only 23 editions and offered through an invitation-only process before possible extension to the public.

* 1/23 will release at $3,500 USD which includes all taxes, shipping, insurance and a secret extra gift.
