The beauty of nature through the form of a tree has inspired the creation of this artwork ‘Tweed River Tree’. This charcoal and acrylic painting on fine art 12oz heavy weight rolled canvas is an expression of life through thought, emotion with fine art realism, expressionism and abstract styles. Charcoal provides the representational structure for the tree, using a unique and also made up technique with paint brushes. Thin and thick painting splashes of indigo, emerald green, bright light green, turquoise and light blue were applied in energetic motion. The colours are richer in real life.
