This painting has been commissioned by an Australian art collector and is a focus on the joy in playing and listening to music. First charcoal was painted to create a realistic looking guitar of a Gibson shape being played. Acrylics were painted and splattered to express the feeling of sound and movement in playing the guitar. Vibrant yellow and blue was used closer to the hands to provide an electric solo feel. Finally, a guitar lead was painted to add that extra feeling of live performance and visual balance.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The high quality canvas has a soft white gesso background and sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
