I’ve created a vibrant winged bird this week as inspired by sunset colours off a western beach. I create birds as they express freedom and leave my in a state of relaxation and pleasant wonder. The painting has charcoal painted to create a photorealistic bird and also acrylics for a vibrant expression of life and movement. I continue to work on expressing a greater sense of movement in my work as I wish to create more than just beauty and a representation of life, but also feeling and emotion.
