This painting is inspired by the beauty of trees and sunflowers. First charcoal was painted onto the canvas to create a strong tree with a balance of masculine and feminine line and shape. A mix of yellow and brown acrylics were used to create an expression of sunflower colours and feelings. An impressionism style application of paint is first worked throughout the background of the leaves, then abstract splatters and splashes are added to create the feeling of existence and motion.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The high quality canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
