Here is my first dancer from my dance series of art for 2018. I have been spending much of my time at the beach over the Christmas break and often walked along the rocky areas looking for creatures in the shallow water. I created a resin dress with this experience in mind. The ballerina’s dress has a new mix too, with resin, acrylics, gouache and pearlescent mixers throughout. This provides a beautiful mix of water-like blue splashes, rocky looking resin creams and golds, and some upper light blue shines. I gave her face a sense of confidence and strength as she moves forward.

I’ve created a new ‘2018 in context photo’ with greater size and light accuracy and a hint of various world locations for fun. I’ve also purchased some new photography gear to improve image accuracy.

This high quality canvas piece with my original made-up charcoal application and acrylic style is ready to hang and sealed with charcoal and acrylic fixatives. Over 200 of my artworks have been safely shipped worldwide; with insurance and tracker included.
