This tree painting is inspired by the enticing view of roots on trees and rusty desert colours. I started with charcoal to create a strong shadowing look on a tree. I make up the twists and turns in the branches as I imagine a tree growing and coming to life. I then used a mix of yellow acrylics to splatter, splashes and drip over the canvas as an expression of life and emotive movement.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All my art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
