The beauty of a sunflower has inspired the creation of this artwork ‘Rainbow Sunflower’. This charcoal and acrylic painting on rolled canvas is an expression of life through thought, emotion and musical reaction on canvas. This artwork expresses the beauty of life through realism, expressionism, abstract and street art styles. Charcoal provides the structure and also base for the stem and leaves of the sunflower, using a unique and also made up technique with paint brush. Splashes and splatters of acrylic colours of the rainbow in deep purple blue, green, yellows, oranges and reds were blended to create a sense of strong motion and life.

This artwork is sold as rolled canvas. 3cm of extra canvas extends beyond the photo example to allow for framing or stretching. Sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives.
