My latest work was created after the excitement of buying tickets to the ballet. Watching ballet is such a great escape for the mind and soul. I created a dark charcoal shadowing this time as I wanted to express greater contrast. I’ve chosen a vibrant pink/purple mix with some dark splashes to provide a little weight to the feet. It’s as if she is dreaming the something is trying to hold her back. However, the motion pushes her through in splashes of vibrant colour.
