My latest dance inspired art piece is focused on motion, balance and a hint of timelessness. The ocean is a big influence in my work. As I walk along the beach some afternoons, I watch the gentle push and crash of the waves as they seem to slow down time. This also makes me feel like all sound is lost and I have nothing to worry about. The use of red and earthy colours in this work is a representation to geological structures. I love finding new rocks and gems on beach, creek and bush walks. This is the first square shaped dance piece I’ve created.
