This charcoal and acrylic painting on ready to hang canvas was inspired by the peaceful beauty of large trees. This was commissioned in a set of four works and created carefully to allow for any arrangement of the works on the wall. The vibrant red and purple trees are inspired by the shapes of jacaranda trees. The green and blue trees are inspired by the shapes of Australian gum trees with a hint of willow tree shaping. The high contrast of the charcoal painting is balanced with explosions of acrylic splattered colour- applied whilst dancing around the canvas to music… feeding emotive energy through the brush to create a true representation of vivid life. This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
