This charcoal and acrylic artwork is inspired by the beauty of dance and opals. I started with charcoal to brush in the realistic look of a woman in a ballerina pose- as seen in the final image. I then used a mix of jade, cream, soft pink, baby blue, black, gold, opal skin white, faded garden green and ash pink to create a splash, splatter, flick and fluid mix of expressive and emotive colour. I dance around the canvas, after pouring a custom mix of resin/fluid acrylics, to express movement in my work.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All my art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
