My latest dance themed art piece expresses movement and the love of the ocean through charcoal and acrylics. I used a gallery style canvas with extra thick timber backing for support this time. It allowed for a smooth charcoal blend and thick paint splatter. I used 14 different colours in this piece to help the dress lift and feel misty. I was inspired by a blue butterfly for the colour selection at first, but then explored further with greens, creams and whites. This large ballerina art piece has sections of resin and thick acrylics splashed throughout. Ready to hang straight out of the heavily packaged box.
