This painting is inspired by the beauty of butterflies and their positive feeling when in the garden. First charcoal was gently painted onto the canvas to create a realistic looking butterfly. Then various acrylics were mixed with mediums to create a fluid and resin effect throughout the wings. Some interesting cells and fluid forms can be seen through the ends of the wings. Splatter and splashes were used for an effect of motion.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All artworks are sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
