This painting is a focus on the beauty of a large tree and the colours and feelings of the endless night sky. First charcoal was painted onto the canvas to create a realistic looking tree with long twisting branches. The tree has a focus on strong feminine shapes and some masculine shapes with dark deep shadows. Acrylic colours of light blue, phthalo blue, deep purple, violet, magenta and vibrant pink were splattered and splashed around the large canvas to bring the tree to life. The splattered acrylics are quite thick in some sections and have some beautiful mixing and blending fluid visuals up close.

This artwork is ready to hang. The high quality canvas has a soft white gesso background and sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
