This large painting is inspired by the beauty of nature in both the form of a tree and the ocean. First charcoal was delicately brushed and painted in a unique and made up technique to create a realistic looking large tree. The tree has a balance of masculine and feminine line and shapes to compliment enticing shadow. Acrylics and ink pigments were painted, splashed and splattered to create a feeling of marine energy and plant life. Colours of French marine blue, deep ocean blue, sky blue, baby blue, cream, sandy blue and phthalocyanine blue were included in the abstract process.

This artwork is ready to hang. The fine art gallery quality canvas has a soft white gesso background and sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
