This large painting is inspired by the beauty of an owl in flight in the night. First charcoal was delicately brushed and painted in a unique and made up technique to create a realistic looking owl bird. Acrylics colours of soft opal white, pink, magenta, purple, blue, gold and pastel cream were splattered and splashed to create a sense of movement. Resin and acrylic flow were mixed and poured on the owl’s left wing to result in beautiful cell formations. This fine art gallery canvas has a linen type texture finish to it in white.

This artwork is ready to hang. The fine art gallery quality canvas has a soft white gesso background and sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
