This painting is inspired by the beauty of lady bugs. The main focus was to capture a lady bug in flight, though to still showcase the beautiful round structure. First charcoal was gently painted onto the canvas to create a realistic looking lady bug. Then various acrylics were mixed with mediums to create a fluid effect throughout the wings. Splatter and splashes were used for an effect of motion off the wings in teal, red and grey.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All artworks are sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
