This painting is a focus on the beauty of a large cherry blossom tree with inspiration from some jacaranda tree features. First charcoal was painted onto the gallery style canvas to create a realistic looking tree with long twisting branches. The tree has a focus on feminine shapes and dark deep shadows. Acrylic colours of cherry blossom pink, magenta, purple, lavender, plum, pastel lilac, gold and cream were splattered and splashed around the large canvas to bring the tree to life. The splattered acrylics are quite thick in sections and have some beautiful mixing and blending fluid visuals up close.

This artwork is ready to hang. The gallery style canvas has a soft white gesso background and sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
