My latest bird themed artwork is inspired by the beautiful kingfisher. I started with charcoal to create a realistic looking bird in a determined and focused look. I then added a mix of acrylics to paint and splash emotion and life into the piece. Please note that this artwork is more vibrant in real life than what appears on some computer, tablet or smart phone screens. The green acrylic colour used is vibrant Phthalo Turquoise Green.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All my art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
