This Jean Shrimpton Astronaut artwork was inspired by an iconic photograph of Jean Shrimpton wearing an astronaut suit. This charcoal and acrylic painting was commissioned by an art collector with an eye for detail and an appreciation for my unique painting style. Charcoal was used to create a photorealistic painting of Jean Shrimpton. Acrylics were used softly to accent areas of focus and to splatter some stars in motion behind her. This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
