This ballerina painting is based off a pose I created last year. I used soft brushes to work in charcoal and a strong mix of 12 different acrylic mixed paints to splash and splatter all over. Jade, teal, ocean turquoise and aqua are the most dominant colours as I’m continued to be inspired by the ocean. I feel most clam when near water, so this comes out in my works. I also used some gold (looks a little brown in this photo without the shine), cream, white and emerald green to lift the jade accents in the dress.
