This painting is inspired by the sense of freedom and joy in a butterfly in flight. Charcoal was softly and delicately painted onto the premium rolled canvas to create a realistic looking butterfly. Acrylic splatters and splashes of teal, ocean blue, turquoise, marine blue, gold and storm blue were used for a feeling of life and movement. The turquoise is much more vibrant in real life compared to the photo online.

This premium rolled canvas artwork is sold unframed. An example is shown with the artwork in a frame. The artwork is sold cut 3-4cm wider and longer edges to allow for stretching if preferred. This painting is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
