This painting was commissioned by an art collector in Saudi Arabia as a gift to his beautiful wife. First the charcoal was applied to create a soft elegant and beautiful face- based off a photo sent. The eyes were the main focus in detail to provide a strong sense of life and enticement into her thoughts. Once all the charcoal sections were painted into the canvas, a mix of acrylics and mediums were added to create a sense of an old book page or old wall background. Splatter and splashes in soft movements were created in both an aim for balance and beauty with purple hair detail.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The gallery canvas has white/grey sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
