My latest piece from my bird series is based on the beauty of an owl in flight. I created a realistic owl with charcoal brushed smoothly onto the canvas and sealed. I then created a tasty abstract wing mix of resin and acrylics with creams, whites, berry, plum and peach colour blends. I wanted to create an owl with the wings in full stretch up this time as I felt it would provide a greater sense of movement.

I used a specific ready to hang canvas with environmentally sustainable pine backing behind high quality cotton duck canvas and also a thick 4cm cross pine frame. This heavier canvas allows me to create more realistic and detailed charcoal art pieces. Over 200 of my artworks have been safely shipped worldwide; with insurance and tracker included.
