This painting has been commissioned by an art collector in the USA as part of a series of works. First charcoal was painted onto the canvas in a unique and made up technique to create a realistic looking turtle in water. Acrylics of ocean blues and sky blues were used to create a rich and seductive blue ocean water feel. Energetic splatters and splashes of acrylics were used to create a sense of movement and emotion in how it feels to see and be the animal and viewer.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The high quality canvas has a soft white gesso background and sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
