This painting is inspired by a love of nature and beautiful tree shapes. First charcoal was painted onto the canvas to create a realistic looking tree trunk and branches. The tree has a balance of masculine and feminine shape and lines. Acrylic colours of storm blue, magenta, vintage blue, baby blue, lavender and electric blue were splattered and splashed about the canvas to bring the tree to life. Finally, shimmering Matisse gold acrylic paint was splattered for a beautiful shine effect in sections. The splattered acrylics are thick and slightly textured in sections.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The high quality canvas has a soft white gesso background and sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
