My latest art piece is an expression and interpretation on evolutionary accuracy. I’ve been looking through various photos of birds in a book I’m reading at the moment. I have noticed the variations and unique features of species as they aim for a ‘perfect’ form in existence- linking to their environment. I decided to create a hummingbird with a mix of features to play on a balance of power and aesthetics.

I’ve used a mix of resin and acrylics on this rolled canvas. I had it stretched at the time to ensure suitability for framing or stretching. I’ve also included both examples in the ‘in context’ photo for you to see before you purchase.

This high quality canvas piece requires framing or stretching and is sealed with charcoal and acrylic fixatives. Over 200 of my artworks have been safely shipped worldwide; with insurance and tracker included.
