I recently went on a trip to Europe for the first time. I was absolutely taken by how many bicycle riders there were. It was such a beautiful sight to watch people riding their bikes in the afternoon sun as they went about their discoveries for the day. I personally love to ride my bicycle around town and down to the beach, which inspires more and more of my work each week. This artwork is an expression of beauty and discovery through the afternoon sunlight. I used a strong mix of vibrant acrylics to mix a resinlike and abstract splashing effect for movement. This piece has some interesting delicate mixing up close in the dress.
