Filming The Action

Cinema film has inspired the creation of this artwork. Cinema provides the power to generate deep ranges of emotion and reaction. I used cinema to inspire this first sections of the artwork. This artwork explores through realism, expressionism, abstract and street art styles. Charcoal provides the structure and also base for the camera artwork, using a unique and also made up technique with paint brush. I splash and splatter with acrylic paint to create a sense of movement and emotion on canvas. I splash acrylic blue, purple, pink, orange, yellow, red and green in this artwork.

This artwork is ready to hang gallery canvas with 4 layers of soft white gesso painted background and sides. This art piece creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. Sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives.
