Desert Opal Tree

This large rolled canvas artwork is inspired by the beauty of a large tree and the colours of the Australian outback and beautiful opals. First charcoal was delicately brushed and painted onto the fine gallery grade cotton rolled canvas to create a realistic looking tree. Acrylic colours of ochre, tan, brown, iron red, peach, cream, opal white, storm blue, indigo, teal, gold and vibrant green were splattered and splashed to create a sense of motion and beautiful life. Some acrylic mediums of glitter gold and sparkle effects were added for the opal feeling. This artwork is sold rolled with the in context photo showing framing and stretched canvas example in a floating frame. A local framer can arrange both options as the canvas cut size is larger than the artwork size. This painting is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity. Sold Unframed (rolled).
