I have created my first oil splashing dancer inspired by the colours of the deep sea. I have used a oils and oil mediums to create a similar splashing effect to what I create with my acrylic works. This oil creation has a thick layer of splashes and gently mixed pour. I also swirled and tipped the oil paint in various directions to create a splash of movement and life. These deep blue mixes have a hint of vibrant ocean blue. It is only noticeable up close or in various angles from light. It shines like a light on within. The oil has some intricate work within the dress, somewhat like a river or ocean floor. I created a dancing woman with a sense of ocean and freedom in mind as I had planned on using this oil mix.
