This artwork is inspired by a love of ballet dance and the peace and calmness in water running and sparkling. First charcoal was delicately painted onto the fine art gallery canvas in a unique and made up technique to create a realistic looking ballet dancer. Artist oil colours of deep ocean blue, phthalo blue, sky blue and soft white blue were painted in an impressionist style from waist to legs. Then some oil mediums were used to create a watery appearance and lead into an expressionism and abstract motion of application. Some splatters and splashes of oil paints were finally added in light motion.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The fine art gallery canvas has a soft white gesso background and sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
