This large tree artwork is inspired by the beauty of Autumn Fall trees and the crisp air feeling as the leaves are falling. First charcoal was painted onto the gallery quality canvas to create a realistic tree with beautiful root structures. Once the black and white section has been created, acrylics and mediums are mixed for application. Splatters and splashes of vibrant oranges, yellows, dark reds and burnt brown iron colours are layered in a semi abstract manner. This process is more of a feel and emotion process rather than an aim for a look of representational character. This complete contrast of the random splashes of paint to the defined and detailed charcoal is created both in balance and in random nature.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The fine art gallery canvas has white sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
