My latest art piece is a new theme for me- horses. I’ve heard that drawing and painting horses is one of the more difficult subjects to master. I thought I’d give it a go and must agree it is a unique subject to work with. The bone structure and shadows play tricks on the mind. Maybe I’ve just been around too much paint fumes lately, but I felt the struggle in drawing the black and white deserved an expressive colour explosion to finish the piece. I thought this may provide the horse with expression- similar to how I felt riding a horse.

I’ve made up my own unique paint brushing effect to work in the charcoal. I then let the emotions run free with expressive splashes of acrylics and resin-like mixes. This large canvas piece is ready to hang and sealed with high quality fixatives. Over 200 of my artworks have been safely shipped worldwide; with insurance and tracker included.
