This painting is inspired by beautiful dance, vibrant oceans and rust. I like rusted objects as much as I enjoy the water. The contrast of the two look exciting and powerful to me. I created a realistic looking dancer with strong shadowing and contrast to allow for the dark blue/black acrylic to suit well. I splashed sections of acrylics over a resin pour with 6 colours total. I used a light blue splash around her midsection to provide a sense of flight and slow motion.

I created this unique style of photorealism/abstract expressionism art a few years ago. All my sold artworks have been safely shipped express with insurance to the door, worldwide. All my art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a new updated certificate of authenticity.
