This painting is inspired by the beauty of a hummingbird in flight. First charcoal was painted to create a realistic looking beautiful hummingbird. A fantasy colour theme of magenta, pink, purple, blue and gold acrylics were used to express joy and a sense of freedom in life. Some abstract expressionism painting splatters and splashes were added to provide a greater feeling of movement.

This rolled canvas artwork is sold unframed. An example is shown of the artwork in a frame. This artwork will fit a standard A3 size frame. The artwork is sold cut to size, though can be cut at 2cm wider and longer edges to allow for stretching if preferred. Please notify if you plan to stretch. This painting is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
