This artwork is inspired by Space, time and thoughts of where life begins, ends and begins again. First, charcoal was used to create a realistic looking astronaut. Layers of black acrylics were painted before splashes of white, blue, red and purple were added to create a sense of space. Finally, a hint of a familiar planet was painted in the visor with reflections of the brightest star.

This artwork is ready to hang straight out of the box. The canvas has black sides and creates a strong shadow with the 4cm (1.5″) thick edging- making it suitable for dark and light wall shades. All art is sealed with high quality charcoal and acrylic fixatives and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
